There are four doors that open to interior shelving with working locks and keys. We were drawn to the very narrow dimensions of this piece, making it perfectly proportioned to be a console. Love these shoes, they're super comfy. Laces stayed tied all day. I wear them in a business casual environment, or if I'm going out for a nice meal with my wife.
